Methodology

The table above assigns scores to each beach town across four categories: natural beauty, activities, safety, and local culture. These scores are not based on any official ratings from the state of Mexico but rather represent a general assessment to help guide travelers with varying priorities. Natural beauty considers the scenic qualities of the location, including beaches, water clarity, and surrounding landscapes. Activities take into account the range of options available, from water sports to cultural experiences. Safety is a general rating based on factors like petty crime rates and suitability for exploring independently. Local culture reflects the strength and accessibility of traditional customs, cuisine, and festivals. Finally, the overall score is an average of the individual category scores, providing a quick comparison between destinations though, all of the beach towns above are great choices for an amazing getaway, or a new life in Mexico!

Remember, these scores are a starting point, and further research is always recommended to tailor your Mexican beach escape to your preferences.
